	Who we are: *A Canadian garment manufacturer and importer. Peerless Garments carries on two distinct businesses :* Leather Business: We are the foremost importer of leather skins for use in the manufacturing of leather jackets, and for re-sale to other leather users. We are one of a few Canadian leather manufacturer of men's and ladies outerwear, including bomber, stroller length and melton-leather jackets. Peerless Garments buys leather in significant volumes resulting in the best buying prices which are passed along to our customers. A benefit of volume purchasing allows us to maintain an inventory of over 1 million sq.ft. of cowhide, lambskin, pigskin and other leathers in various textures, colours and thickness. Having a sizable inventory increases our capacity to produce garments on a more timely basis as well as providing quicker access for our leather skins customers. Cold Weather Business: Peerless Garments specializes in the manufacture of cold/wet weather outerwear. Our garments are intended to keep the user warm, dry and comfortable in even the worst conditions. In addition to our core products, we are a leader in the production of highly-technical garments which provide water-resistance, wind-proofing and warmth. We are licensed to use Gore-Tex ® fabrics including Wind-Stopper® and other work wear materials. We are experienced with fire resistant materials, anti-static products and chemical warfare protective materials. We are specialists using specialized fabrics. The uniqueness of our business leads us to develop and produce outerwear garments for organizations with larger workforces in the outdoors. Government organizations including the armed forces, parks and forestry staff, RCMP, and other similar users are our regular customers. Corporate work wear is well suited for use in the transit, utilities, airline and other industries in which employees are subject to the harsh weather elements of rain and cold. Peerless Garments is ISO 9001 certified and we are committed to quality. Our employees are skilled workers and our products display the union made label.
